We invite you to participate in the practical first aid training "Stop The Bleed" - Stop the Bleed.
TRAINING DIRECTED FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO LEARN HOW TO TREAT A PATIENT WHO HAS SUFFERED AN INJURY.
The training "Stop The Bleed - Stop the Bleed" is directed to everyone. It does not matter what profession you have or what you do in life. Massive bleeding can occur in any life situation, such as a road accident, work in a workshop, a knife attack or even a gunshot.
Can you stop such bleeding...?
We will teach you how to treat an injured person who has suffered an injury. You will learn how to examine the patient and properly dress the wounds.
During the training we will discuss the following topics:
- basic human anatomy and physiology
- tactical and special dressings
- conducting an examination of the injured person according to the acronym "MARCHE"
- stopping massive bleeding, including applying the most popular tourniquets such as CAT, SOFT, SAM XT tourniquets and packing wounds in transitional places, the so-called wound packing
- instrumental airway clearance
- dressing penetrating chest wounds
- recognizing hypovolemic shock in the injured person
- protecting the injured person from hypothermia and head wounds
- preparing for transport

We start the training with a multimedia presentation. Then we move on to exercise blocks, where we practically train on the latest medical equipment. We will also conduct mock simulations, in which we test the acquired skills of the participants in stressful conditions.
The entire training will end with a final exam.
A positive result of the final exam is associated with obtaining a certificate along with a supplement.
Everyone will receive training materials related to the issues discussed above.
